Trending Organically: PVB's Fall Beauty Guide

Organic Fall Beauty Guide

Summer is winding down (sigh), and fall is right around the corner. While we're sad to see the summer go, we have to admit, there's something romantic about strolling the streets with a warm latte in hand and admiring the colorful leaves. Switching gears from swim suits all day to stylish denim, light trenches, and perhaps a darker more mysterious lip color is pretty awesome too.

Fall fashion and beauty trends are all part of the fun, and we want to share our favorites of the season with an organic twist. Concerned over the amounts of chemicals and harmful ingredients found in makeup and skin care, we're showcasing the hottest fall beauty trends and giving you the tools to recreate the looks, organically.

Fall makeup trends 2015

In an article on BreastCancerFund.org entitled "Chemicals in Cosmetics," the author notes:

"{...} The cosmetics industry uses thousands of synthetic chemicals in its products, in everything from lipstick and lotion to shampoo and shaving cream.

Many of these substances are also used in industrial manufacturing processes to clean industrial equipment, stabilize pesticides and grease gears. And we can all agree that an ingredient that effectively scours a garage floor may not be the best choice for a facial cleanser.

In the U.S., major loopholes in federal law allow the cosmetics industry to put thousands of synthetic chemicals into personal care products, even if those chemicals are linked to cancer, infertility or birth defects. At the same time as untested chemicals have been steadily introduced into our environment, breast cancer incidence has risen dramatically."

The good news is, you have a choice in the products you buy. There are many high quality organic makeup companies taking health very seriously, and the better news is - their products are killer.

So let's get to it! Here are fall's top beauty trends, brought to you with an organic beauty twist:
